Young Adult Alcohol Use Study

The purpose of this study is to assess the usefulness of an app designed to reduce alcohol use and related harms among young adults.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 25 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Location

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

You will attend a baseline session over Zoom where you will meet with a member of the study team to take a survey and be enrolled into the study. Then, you will receive text message surveys to your phone for four weeks. You will receive a final online survey sent to your phone 30 days after you've completed the four week study.

2 months

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • 18-25 years of age
  • Consumed alcohol in the past 30 days

Not eligible if:

  • Not 18-25 years of age
  • Do not drink
