Kidney Health Study

We want to find out how well a new medicine, called DMX-200, works in children and adults with a kidney problem. All participants will also take a blood pressure medicine. This study lasts for about two years.

Age & Gender

  • 12 years ~ 80 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Visits can be combined with regular clinical appointments

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

You will fill out an online diary. At each visit, you will have your blood drawn and give a urine sample. You will also collect your urine for 24 hours and bring it with you.

Incentives

You can earn up to $4700, We'll cover any parking costs if needed

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Primary FSGS, genetic FSGS, or FSGS of undetermined cause
  • protein in urine
  • females of childbearing potential must agree to highly effective method of contraception
  • A male with a female partner of childbearing potential must agree to use acceptable contraception and not donate sperm

Not eligible if:

  • you have type 1 diabetes mellitus or uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • you have a history of cancer or any active malignancy in the last 2 years
  • you have a documented history of heart failure
  • you received an organ or stem cell transplant
  • you are unable to swallow oral medication
