We want to find out how nurses in Saudi Arabia think about and do their jobs when it comes to patient care involving genomics, or the study of genes. Nursing educators have said they're not always sure what hospitals want from their students in this area. By talking with nurses in different jobs, we aim to better understand the skills and knowledge they need. This will help make sure nurses learn what they really need to know for their work.
You will do one Zoom interview that lasts 45 to 60 minutes. You will also fill out a short background form about your experience. In the interview, we will talk about your views as a nurse and how you use genetics and genomics in your work. We'll ask how ready you feel with tasks at your job. We will record the interview with your permission and write it down later. Your answers will be private, and we will remove your name and other personal details.
