Bladder Cancer Treatment Study

This study will test a faster radiation treatment for bladder cancer. We want to see if this shorter method can keep the bladder healthy and cancer-free for three years, just like the usual treatment does.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

As a participant, you will meet with a team member and complete questionnaires. You will also have blood tests and receive radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • The cancer has grown into the muscle layer of the bladder (T2) or into the fat surrounding the bladder (T3), but not beyond.
  • Must undergone removal of bladder tumor(s) and staging prior to randomization
  • No bladder cancer outside the bladder in the past 2 years, unless fully removed from the kidney or ureter and was early-stage (Ta/T1/CIS)

Not eligible if:

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Pregnant and/or Nursing a child
  • Must not have evidence of T4 or node positive disease.
