Food Allergy Study

The purpose of this study is to determine if the use of a drug called RPT904 is safe and effective for reducing allergic reactions that may occur upon accidental exposure to food allergens.

Age & Gender

  • 12 years ~ 55 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

What will be asked of you

The following procedures/assessments are a part of the study: -Medical history, diet, allergy questionnaires -Physical exams -Vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) -Teaching on epinephrine auto-injectors -Lung function testing -Administration of the study drug -Pregnancy testing (blood and urine) if able to become pregnant -Laboratory testing (blood and urine) -Skin prick testing -Oral food challenges

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Allergic to at least 1 of the following foods: peanut, milk, egg, cashew, or walnut
  • Ages 12 years to less than 56 years

Not eligible if:

  • Previous adverse reaction to omalizumab/omalizumab-igec or discontinuation of omalizumab/omalizumab-igec treatment due to insufficient clinical benefit.
  • Current participation in another therapeutic or interventional clinical study or participation within 90 days of screening or use of investigational drugs within 24 weeks ofscreening
  • Currently on "build-up phase" of inhalant allergen immunotherapy (ie, has not reached maintenance dosing).
  • Currently receiving oral, IM, or IV corticosteroids, tricyclic antidepressants, or β-blockers (oral or topical).
  • Past or current history of any immunotherapy to any of the foods being treated in this study (eg, oral immunotherapy, sublingual immunotherapy, epicutaneous immunotherapy) within
