Teaching the Game Through Tech: A Study of Analytics Integration in Division I Men's Basketball Coaching

The purpose of this study is to explore how NCAA Division I men's basketball coaches incorporate performance data analytics and technology into their coaching pedagogy.

What will be asked of you

If you choose to participate, you will take part in a single virtual interview lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes, conducted via Zoom. During the interview, you will be asked to share your professional experiences and perspectives on how data analytics and technology are used within your basketball program. Topics may include how analytics inform practice planning, player development, scouting, and in-game strategy. There are no follow-up sessions or additional requirements beyond the interview.

One 45 min Zoom Interview

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • You are a Head Division I Men's Basketball Coach
  • You are an Assistant Division I Men's Basketball Coach
  • You are a Player Development Division I Basketball Coach

Not eligible if:

  • Not a Division I Men's Basketball Coach
