Caregiver Perspectives on Child Fatigue in Hearing Loss

We want to learn about how school-age children with hearing loss experience tiredness. We are asking caregivers to share their observations and experiences. This information will help us understand the challenges these children face and how to support them.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years

What will be asked of you

You will meet with a member of the study team on Zoom for a one-time, remote interview lasting 45 minutes. During the interview, you will be asked to share your observations about your child's sleep, energy levels, and fatigue. At the end of the session, you will complete a few brief questionnaires about your child's sleep habits, fatigue, and hearing history. All responses will be kept confidential.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Caregivers of school-age children who have permanent hearing loss

Not eligible if:

  • Caregivers of children who have normal hearing.
  • Caregivers of children with permanent hearing loss between the ages of 0 - 4 years.
