Glucose, Lifestyle, and Overall Well-Being in Women Study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of 4 weeks of supplementation of Perelel Triple Support Protein powder on glycemic control, insulin sensitivity, blood markers and overall well-being (sleep, satiety, energy, and cognition).

What will be asked of you

This study involves blood draws, a continuous glucose monitor placement, and supplementation for 4 weeks. There will also be surveys to fill out during the study and repeated body composition measures.

Incentives

Up to $200, Body Composition scan results, parking during visit.

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Females ages 30-60 yrs old
  • BMI = 18.5 - 40 kg/m^2
  • Participating in more than 30 min/week of physical activity
  • Generally healthy

Not eligible if:

  • Currently supplementing with whey protein
  • pregnant or nursing
  • lactose intolerant
