Database and Specimen Bank of HIV Infected Persons Followed at the UNC ID Clinic

The purpose of this study is to gain as much knowledge as possible about HIV-infected patients, so that we can improve care and help the patients live longer.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

We will ask for your permission to access your medical records and collect a blood sample.

Total length of participation:
entire length of care at UNC

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • you are living with HIV
  • are 18 years or older
  • seek care at UNC ID clinic

Not eligible if:

  • none
