ScreenNC

The purpose of the study is to collect blood from asymptomatic individuals to screen for antibodies for SARS-CoV2 , which is the virus that causes the COVID-19 illness. We would like to see how many people may have been exposed to the virus but who do not have symptoms of the illness. If there are enough tests available, we may ask you to allow us to also do a nasal or oral swab to test for COVID-19. This study is being done at the following clinics: UNC Family Medicine Center (Chapel Hill), UNC Family Medicine (Wakefield), UNC Women's Health at Eden, UNC Family Medicine Southpoint, UNC Internal Medicine Goldsboro, UNC Family Medicine Airport Road (Kinston), North Chatham Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, UNC Specialty Care Sanford, UNC Family Medicine- Mebane, and UNC Family Medicine- Clayton.
