Do you ever feel like your doctor doesn't hear or understand what your needs are? Does it feel like your doctor is always rushing you and there's never enough time to address what's really important in your health. You may be eligible to participate in a focus group study to find out more about what health issues doctors are missing during health appointments and how communication between patient and doctor can be improved.

Have you taken a GLP-1 agonist drug such as semaglutide for weight loss? You may be able to participate in a research study to find out if taking GLP-1 agonist drugs such as semaglutide have any effect on physical function or quality of life.

We have study goals: (1) To conduct phone interviews to ask about symptoms and life impact from adult patients living with PSC; (2) To lead community advisory board discussions to decide on using existing symptom measures 'as is', modify existing measures or develop new measures to evaluate PSC symptoms; and (3) To conduct interviews with adult patients with PSC to assess their understanding and comprehension of selected symptom measures. We plan to consent and enroll up to 75 patients into a Screening database. From the database, we will select up to 24 patients to interview for Aim 1 and up to 16 patients to interview for Aim 3. Interviews will be conducted over the phone by staff at Duke University. At the end of the study, we will have 3 PSC symptom measures for use in future PSC studies.

This study is being done to answer the following question: What is the dose of durvalumab and olaparib in combination with radiation therapy that can be safely and tolerably taken by patients with pancreatic cancer? It is been done because we want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for your pancreatic cancer. The usual approach is defined as care most people get for pancreatic cancer

The purpose of this study is to learn how patients with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) clear mucus based on their genetic mutation. We also want to learn if albuterol can help patients clear mucus from their airways better.

We study how the immune system protects against viruses and bacteria without causing excessive harm to organs like the lungs, heart, and kidneys. We need a small amount of blood to study how immune cells ("white blood cells") turn on important proteins when they sense a bacteria or virus nearby.

Have you been diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and therapies you've tried don't work, or you aren't interested in taking drugs to treat your EoE? Are you willing to modify your diet to exclude certain foods for 8 weeks? If so, then you may be eligible to participate in a study to see if an individualized diet elimination therapy works to treat EoE.

Have you been hospitalized for anti-GBM disease (Goodpasture disease)? You may be able to take part in a research study to help us learn if adding a drug to your treatment could help stop inflammation faster and help protect the kidneys.

People with kidney disease that have the APOL1 risk variant are at a greater risk for developing protein in their urine and chronic kidney disease. This research study is being done to determine if the investigational drug, VX-147 can slow or stop the worsening of kidney function as well as target the underlying cause of kidney disease.
