We are doing a study to understand how Muslim adults in the U.S. feel about their dental care experiences. We want to know if having a dentist who shares your religion affects how much you trust them or feel satisfied with your care. The survey is anonymous, short, and open to Muslim adults who've seen a dentist in the past year.

We are studying how to make medical test results easier for patients to understand. Pathology reports, which explain what doctors find in tissue samples, are often written for medical professionals and can be hard for patients to read. In this study, we are testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help explain these reports in plain language. Patients having a routine screening procedure will read a sample report with or without an AI-generated explanation. Then they will answer questions about how well they understood the report and how they felt about it. We want to learn if using AI helps people better understand their health information and feel more confident making decisions. This will help improve the way test results are shared in the future.
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) remains a significant health justice concern with increasing political threats to education, prevention, and treatment. North Carolina continues to face significant intersectional disparities in preventing and treating HIV resulting in high incidence rates compared to the rest of the United States. However, North Carolina has an established HIV advocacy network that aims to improve the lives of those impacted by HIV. The rationale for this project is that understand the network of organizations involved in how HIV is overseen in North Carolina. It seeks to explore what, how, and why these organizations interact to inform current and future advocacy efforts that contribute to improving the lives of those living with HIV.
We are assessing clinician and breast cancer survivors' perceptions of our interactive, artificial intelligence-based decision aid, designed to help inform patients who are considering breast reconstruction after mastectomy.

The purpose of this research study is to learn more about how workers in low-wage jobs get support at work, especially when they have pain. Some workers with pain may qualify for work accommodations-changes to their job or schedule that help them keep working. But not everyone who qualifies actually gets these changes, and we don't always know why. This study looks at things that might affect whether someone gets a work accommodation. These include personal factors like knowing your rights or being afraid of being treated differently, as well as job-related factors like how demanding the job is or how supportive a supervisor is.
This research study aims to improve the resolution of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging to reduce radiation exposure using software.
The purpose of this study is to understand how people in the community view individuals who have certain health conditions including HIV, problems with drug or alcohol abuse, and illnesses related to obesity (like diabetes or high blood pressure). We also want to learn how you think healthcare workers treat people with these conditions.
The purpose of this study is to identify how members of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia interpret published NPO Guidelines in scenarios where the guidelines are vague or ambiguous.
