Thoracic Surgery Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (ePROs) Study

The purpose of this research study is to understand how the monitoring of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) could help improve surgical care for patients undergoing chest surgeries. PROs are symptoms directly reported by patients through the completion of a survey.

Brain Death Education Survey

The purpose of this project is to create and distribute a survey with the intent to collect data about the amount and quality of training critical care physicians receive regarding brain death (i.e., death by neurologic criteria). We are doing because teaching physicians about brain death is not standardized and the subject is complex.

A STUDY OF SELINEXOR AND VENETOCLAX WITH CHEMOTHERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH REFRACTORY OR RELAPSED ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA

The purpose of this study is to test the safety of the two study drugs, venetoclax and selinexor, and to find the highest dose of venetoclax and selinexor that can be given safely when it is combined with chemotherapy drugs (cytarabine or cytarabine and fludarabine). This study tests different doses of venetoclax and selinexor to see which dose is safer in children with leukemia.

Assessing innovative wireless and wearable sensors for continuous blood pressure measurement in obese and super-obese pregnant women

Considering the particular challenges of obtaining accurate blood pressure measurements in these patients as well as their increased risk for diagnosis of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, the primary objective of this study is to assess the accuracy and function of ANNE One in capturing hemodynamic and physiologic signals, and in particular blood pressure measurements, in obese and super-obese, pregnant patients and compare them to the gold standard of an A-line.
