Comparing Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) Biopsy With Standard Neck Dissection for Patients With Early-Stage Oral Cavity Cancer

Do you have a pathologically (histologically or cytologically) proven diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity? If so, you may be able to participate in a phase II/III research study to determine how well sentinel lymph node biopsy works and compares sentinel lymph node biopsy surgery to standard neck dissection as part of the treatment for early-stage oral cavity cancer.

Couples and Substance Use Treatment Study

In this study, we want to find out if a new treatment is helpful to couples in which both partners use substances and want to reduce their substance use together. This treatment combines couples therapy and substance use treatment to help couples work as a team around their substance use and build long-lasting ways to meaningfully experience life together.
