The purpose of this study is to develop and validate an Artificial intelligence (AI)-based tissue sample analysis tool that can predict response & progression rates to chemotherapy in intermediate-risk (IR) and high-risk (HR) Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) patients. This study will use AI-based tissue sample analysis as a possible tool to help predict which patients are at high-risk for cancer recurrence and progression after surgery and chemotherapy treatment. Specimens will be obtained for each patient before treatment and at the 12, 24, & 36 month follow-up to be analyzed using the AI-based tool.

Despite industry emphasis on AI skills, students currently lack knowledge and practice in utilizing AI for primary research. This project seeks to develop GenAI-driven learning experiences to bridge this gap. Leveraging the team's expertise, we will create adaptable learning materials, cutting-edge examples/cases, and engaging assignments emphasizing GenAI best practices and critical reflection.

The literature regarding the role of ethics and professionalism in dental school curricula is quite scarce. We plan to collect information from CODA-accredited dental schools in the United States to gain a better understanding of how ethics and professionalism content is currently being incorporated into dental school curricula nationwide.

We want to determine if teleconsultations improve the dental students' understanding of the Orofacial Pain history taking process.

This study is being done to better understand Angelman syndrome (AS). Participants will include both children and adults with a diagnosis of AS. The study will collect data regarding medical, behavioral, and developmental challenges in individuals with AS over time. Participants will be invited to return for yearly clinical evaluations yearly until the study runs out of funding. We hope clinicians will be able to help individuals with AS better if we understand the different pattern of symptoms that appear in individuals with AS over their lifetimes.

This study is helping to plan and evaluate a SNAP in Schools component of a Coordinating SNAP and Nutrition Support project being carried out by partner organizations in North Carolina. The study includes a survey to see if families attending Buncombe County Schools are aware of and using food resources such as Food and Nutrition Services (FNS)/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and school meals. The responses provided will be used to help plan activities to increase awareness and access to food assistance resources for Buncombe County Schools families.

In this study, using the theoretical frameworks causation and effectuation, I aim to explain the establishment of social enterprises in developing economies founded by non-native entrepreneurs.
