Artificial Intelligence Prediction Tool in NMIBC

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate an Artificial intelligence (AI)-based tissue sample analysis tool that can predict response & progression rates to chemotherapy in intermediate-risk (IR) and high-risk (HR) Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) patients. This study will use AI-based tissue sample analysis as a possible tool to help predict which patients are at high-risk for cancer recurrence and progression after surgery and chemotherapy treatment. Specimens will be obtained for each patient before treatment and at the 12, 24, & 36 month follow-up to be analyzed using the AI-based tool.

AI 379

This project aims to integrate generative AI (GenAI) into MEJO379, a high-enrollment course, to meet the demand for students to critically engage with AI in strategic communication. Despite industry emphasis on AI skills, students currently lack knowledge and practice in utilizing AI for primary research. This project seeks to develop GenAI-driven learning experiences to bridge this gap. Leveraging the team's expertise, we will create adaptable learning materials, cutting-edge examples/cases, and engaging assignments emphasizing GenAI best practices and critical reflection.

Angelman Syndrome Natural History Study

This study is being done to better understand Angelman syndrome (AS). Participants will include both children and adults with a diagnosis of AS. The study will collect data regarding medical, behavioral, and developmental challenges in individuals with AS over time. Participants will be invited to return for yearly clinical evaluations yearly until the study runs out of funding.
