Through semi-structured interviews with Arab entrepreneurs and business owners, this project considers questions of immigration, identity, and local processes of action and decision making within the context of the food industry and entrepreneurship. The food industry was chosen as food is a significant symbol for identity, faith, and culture. There is also significant diversity of Arab-owned businesses in the food industry.
The purpose of this study is to understand individuals experiences in supervisory and leadership roles in organizations. Leaders may engage in a variety of behaviors at work. The goal is to understand how these differing behaviors influence how leaders perceive their image that, then, influences their subsequent behaviors--of them engaging in effective leader interactions with employees and ineffective leader interactions with employees. The projects serves as the undergraduate honors thesis and will contribute to theory and research in the organizational sciences on leadership and employee-leader interactions.
We want to learn about autistic adults' experiences with suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We are interested in two main things: 1) What causes suicidal crises for autistic adults 2) What helps autistic adults to decrease the suicidal thoughts and prevent suicide attempts
