In this study, we want to find out what makes people decide to buy things in a convenience store.
Our research team has created a Bluetooth enabled resistance exercise band (BandPass) and a corresponding workout 'app' to help older adults' strength train at home. The purpose of this project is to test the likelihood that BandPass can be used by older adults, to test whether older adults will keep using the device to exercise during the study, and to test if older adults have improved strength at the end of the study.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether inactive adults are able to walk at a moderate pace (100 steps per minute) for 10 minutes when walking on a treadmill, a sidewalk, and a nature trail, and to learn about adults' feelings and mood when walking at a moderate pace.
