The purpose of the PREPARE Project is to advance the health interests of pregnant adolescents living with or at risk of HIV through building on the work of PHASES to develop an empirically informed Ethics Guidance to facilitate timely, responsible research with pregnant adolescents.

Do you have a child ages 9-12? Do you live in rural North Carolina? You may be able to participate in a research study that is exploring how parents, particularly in rural areas, want to have conversations about HPV vaccination with their children's' doctors and nurses. Have you been diagnosed with a lung infection due to M. Avium Complex (MAC)? Are considering beginning treatment for this infection? If so, you may be able to take part in a research study helping us to learn more about the effectiveness and side effects of the two most common antibiotic regimens used to treat this disease. There are no additional visits required for the study and you may be able to participate remotely!

The purpose of this study is to investigate North Carolinian archival repositories' disaster preparedness for climate change induced flood risks.

Do you identify as South Asian and do you menstruate? Do you identify as South Asian and do you use or have you consider using contraception or birth control? Have you experienced bias when discussing menstruation or contraception? If so, you may be interested in this study to improve reproductive justice for South Asians in the United States.

Have you lost a loved one or know someone who lost a loved one? If you have attended mental health services and have been diagnosed with Prolonged Grief Disorder, you may be able to take part in a research study to help us create a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

In this study, we want to learn more about how people experience addiction and its recovery process. This is an interview study where you will discuss your personal experiences with substance use. We hope that the information collected through these interviews will inspire further research studies intended to improve social and medical understanding of addiction.
