Lung Cancer Screening Study

Are you a current or former smoker coming to UNC for lung cancer screening, planning to have surgery to determine if you have lung cancer, or have you been recently diagnosed with lung cancer? Long-term immunologic responses to COVID-19 infection and vaccination

Have you been infected with COVID-19? Are you a solid organ transplant recipient? Have you or your child received a COVID-19 vaccine or are planning to receive one? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a research study that will assess your immune response to COVID-19 infection or vaccination over a 5 year period. We are looking for children and adults aged 7-95 years, and plan to collect blood every 2-6 months over the study period. (Compensation provided for the first year).

Breaking-Up Sedentary Behavior Study

Would you be interested in sharing your experiences of what it means to be Afro-Latino in your day-to-day life and how it relates to your health? If so, you may be able to participate to a study that focuses on Afro-Latinos and their health, with a particular interest in cardiovascular health. Compensation provided. ¿Eres un adulto Latino Afro-descendiente (Afro-Latino) viviendo en Carolina del Norte? ¿Le interesaría compartir sus experiencias de lo que significa ser Afro-Latino en su vida cotidiana y como es relacionada con su salud?
