The purpose of this study is to determine whether a type of group-based mental health therapy works for autistic adults. The type of therapy is called Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training. The study will look at whether 1) mental health clinicians could deliver the therapy program as intended, 2) autistic adults liked the program, and 3) autistic adults experienced any changes in their ability to manage difficult or intense emotions, anxiety, mood, and quality of their lives. We are doing this study, because autistic adults experience poorer mental health and difficulties managing their emotions, compared to others without autism. We want to understand whether this therapy helps, which will help us determine if we should change anything about the therapy program to make it better.
