This study is being done to learn more about women's experiences and preferences when taking blood pressure medications after giving birth. High blood pressure can continue or develop in the weeks after delivery, and different medications are used to treat it. We want to better understand how women feel about these medications-such as their concerns, side effects, and how easy or difficult they are to take. The information collected will help doctors and health care providers choose treatments that work best for new mothers and support their recovery after childbirth.
This study wants to learn how people with cancer manage their day-to-day health and treatment while receiving medicines for cancer. We will ask patients about their experiences through short surveys and interviews to understand what helps them stay well and avoid emergency visits or hospital stays. The goal is to find ways to better support patients during treatment, especially those who live farther from the hospital or have fewer resources.
The goal of the ABACUS-HIV Study is to learn about things that make it easier or more difficult for people with HIV to take their cholesterol medication consistently. WHAT WILL YOU BE ASKED TO DO? Be interviewed for 60-75 minutes in clinic or by phone; All your responses will be confidential; Participants will be compensated $50. WHO CAN JOIN? People living with HIV; At least 18 years old; Prescribed a cholesterol medication called a statin; Can speak English; Have agreed to be in the HIV clinic database at UNC. Health care professionals across the state are invited to apply to participate in the Maternal Mental Health Fellowship. Participants (Fellows) will complete pre- and post- training surveys, including feedback surveys after each session to assess satisfaction with the trainings as well as changes in knowledge, confidence, and comfort as it relates to perinatal mental health.
The purpose of this study is to understand the political and social attitudes that influence political opinions. It also includes a few experiments to vary certain political and social information provided to the participants to see whether responses change when different information is provided.
