The purpose of this study is to better understand the everyday medical education experiences of current medical students and resident physicians and how those experiences shape their career plans.
This study aims to understand how archaeologists keep records of their discoveries and artifacts. The goal is to discover the best ways to teach archaeologists about organizing and saving information relevant to their excavations. The study considers examples from the past and present and will rely on discussions with specialists and the analysis of the "Work Digital / Think Archive" guidebook made jointly by DigVentures and the Archaeological Archives Forum. The goal is to spread the word about the efforts happening now to set up the best frameworks and workflows for archaeologists to handle their digital data and create intentional standards for preserving their findings.
Academic libraries have always needed to be responsive to changes in emerging technology over time. Adopting or integrating new library technologies requires librarians to acquire and develop proficiency in new skills. In recent decades as academic libraries have continued to become ever more digitized, this has resulted in a growing need for librarians to gain new technological skills. This qualitative study will use focus groups of academic librarians to explore what current technological shifts academic librarians are experiencing, what skills are most needed to navigate those changes, and how academic librarians are gaining those new skills. This study aims to gain insight into current factors impacting technology in academic library contexts like the continued impacts of Covid-19 and AI, factors unaccounted for in the existing literature. The results of this study will be of interest to current and future academic librarians, library administrators, and LIS educators.
To assess undergraduate and graduate student's attitudes regarding opioid overdose and harm reduction tools at a large, public university.
To assess how candidate branding affects voters' perceptions of candidates in primary elections for Congress.
The purpose of this study is to explore the associations of mental health symptoms on athlete response to injury. This will help athletic trainers, who predominantly deal with athlete injuries, treat the emotional aspect of injuries. It will also help improve how athletic trainers identify athletes at risk for a negative response to injury.
The primary endpoints are to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of SNDX-5613 administered in combination with chemotherapy in patients with relapsed or refractory KMT2A-rearranged (KMT2A-R) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and to estimate the minimal residual disease (MRD) negative remission rate of patients with R/R infant KMT2A-R ALL treated with SNDX-5613 in combination with chemotherapy. Secondary endpoints include characterizing the pharmacokinetics (PK) of SNDX-5613 administered with chemotherapy in patients with R/R infant KMT2A-R ALL, estimating the 18-month event-free survival (EFS) of patients with R/R infant KMT2A-R ALL treated with SNDX5613 in combination with chemotherapy, estimating 18-month overall survival (OS) of patients with R/R infant KMT2A-R ALL treated with SNDX5613 in combination with hemotherapy, and characterizing the tolerability of SNDX-5613 given as monotherapy in patients with R/R infant KMT2A-R ALL. The exploratory endpoint is to assess the biologic activity of SNDX-5613 administered with chemotherapy in patients with R/RKMT2A-R ALL.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the survival outcome of patients with first recurrence of GBM undergoing surgical debulking/resection followed by either implantation of the SC9 device and repeat BBB opening in association with carboplatin chemotherapy or standard of care second line chemotherapy with either lomustine or temozolomide (per best physician's choice and best practice).
The aim of this project is thus to explore people's judgments (e.g., fairness, efficiency) of different allocation procedures .
In this study, we aim to assess patient, their partner, and provider understanding of a diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). An electronic survey investigating respondent's knowledge of the key clinical features of PCOS will be distributed to patients with PCOS and their partners, as well as to attending and resident physicians from various specialties and medical students. We believe that this study will highlight areas of clinical confusion to patients and areas where providers can improve upon counseling and patient education regarding features of the disease. We also believe that this study may highlight disparities in knowledge and understanding of key clinical features of PCOS among various providers, potentially highlighting an opportunity for improved training and education among physicians at various levels of training.
