Are you experiencing symptoms of depression that have not been relieved by prescribed anti-depressant medication? If you have taken one or more prescribed anti-depressants and are still feeling symptoms of low mood, anxiety, sleep disruption, or appetite changes, you may be able to take part in a new medication trial for people who have not found other anti-depressants to help them. Compensation will be provided.

In this study, we want to improve virtual healthcare by seeking feedback from those who have used virtual care (ex. telehealth, or e-visits). We are looking for patients, administrators, providers or policymakers to provide feedback through individual, private interviews. Your perspective will help us to foster equitable and sustainable virtual care solutions.

In this study, we want to learn how people find and understand information. We want to see how this information affects their lives and their thoughts on money.

We want to improve emergency stroke care across the state of North Carolina. We are doing this by gathering information from individuals like you about emergency stroke services. Your perspective as a stroke patient or caregiver to a stroke patient in North Carolina will help us identify challenges in stroke care and develop effective solutions for those challenges.

In this study, we want to learn more about the impacts of displacement due to a natural disaster in the United States. We are looking for professionals with experience in climate change and disaster mitigation and for those displaced due to a natural disaster. Findings from this study may help us understand how state infrastructure may impact climate change resiliency.

Participating is at no expense to you, and there are no study visits. You would be contributing to increasing knowledge about HIV and furthering the HIV research field.

In this study, I want to learn more about the firsthand experiences of people living with OCD. This includes their thoughts, rituals, and beliefs. It also includes their self-perception, as well as their recovery journeys. These personal stories will help me learn more about how people with OCD express their fears, anxieties, and values.

This study is for patients diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, which is called Metastatic Breast Cancer. This study will look at information from your tumor that may help choose treatments. Researchers will use this information to find out how different patients may respond to different treatments, leading to better treatments for future patients. You may not benefit personally, but your doctor may be given information which may help guide your treatments.

The purpose of this research is to examine how listeners access and learn speech when listening in clear or challenging conditions. We are currently recruiting adults with normal hearing. Research participants may be asked to complete listening tasks, complete questionnaires, and complete sleep tracking measures. The research study is expected to take 7 days of participation and will be completed with 2 in-person sessions. The goal of this research is to contribute to a better understanding of how listeners learn new speech signals, and in so doing, point to rehabilitation considerations for listeners with hearing loss.
