We are studying an investigational drug, Efruxifermin, to see if it will help in the treatment of liver inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) in adults diagnosed with NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) and MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis).
Have you been diagnosed with a cancer called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)? . If so, you may be able to take part in a research study looking at the effectiveness of combination treatments of the drugs (sonrotoclax + Zanubrutinib) or (venetoclax + Obinutuzumab) for patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) .
This research study is being done in participants with advanced B-cell malignancies such as some types of lymphomas or leukemias. B-cell malignancies express a protein called the Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), which has been shown to help the tumor cells grow and survive. The investigational drug, AC676, has been designed to recognize the BTK protein, and marks it for destruction. By destroying the BTK protein, the malignancy may be stopped from growing. "Investigational" means the study drug being tested is not approved by the FDA. This is an open-label study, meaning all patients who are eligible to participate will receive study drug. The purpose of this study is to better understand the experiences of Black Americans who have psychosis and who use substances. We are interested in understanding how people think about and experience recovery, and how these experiences may be shaped by the ways people view themselves. Potential participants will complete a 15-minute screening session to determine their eligibility for the study.

Young adults show very high levels of anxiety and depression, both compared to older adults and to young adults of previous generations. This study is trying to find out why! Our idea is that the way young adults are thinking about the social, political, and ecological stressors in their lives could be different from other ages. Therefore, we are trying to find out what this group is thinking and feeling about these stressors. This might allow psychologists to better treat young adults for these symptoms in the future!

We are seeking participants with type 2 diabetes who use insulin and whose diabetes has affected kidney function and are interested in trying out a new medication that is expected to improve blood sugar control and prevent the weight gain (or induce weight loss) associated with increased insulin use.
