Trauma Informed Education Case Study

Trauma informed practices include a wide range of potential policies and actions that schools can implement with the goal of supporting students better. I am interested in further understanding what these practices include and what effect they have on the students and staff at the school. In order to explore these questions, this study focuses on one school's experience with implementing trauma informed educational policies. Interviews with school staff will aid in understanding what these policies look like in practice, as well as their benefits and limitations.

Cozie: Assessing Individual Thermal Comfort in Urban Environments

Cities are hot during daytime in summer time - much hotter than their surrounding vegetated, often forested rural areas. This effect, the Urban Heat Island Effect, is determined by building materials, human activity, and urban vegetation. But how does it affect individual thermal comfort? We are interested in understanding relationships between temperature and thermal comfort in urban areas.

Detecting the Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cells Idecabtagene Vicleucel and Ciltacabtagene Autoleucel in Patients with Multiple Myeloma

Research with blood and cells (generally called specimens) can help researchers understand how the human body works. Research can also answer other questions by using specimens. Researchers may develop new tests to find diseases, or new ways to treat diseases. In the future, research may help to develop new products, such as drugs. You are being asked for permission to use your biospecimens and medical records for this study. Using your biospecimens, researchers may be able to detect CAR-T cells in your body after you receive the CAR-T treatment. The purpose of this study is to validate the detection method of CAR-T cells in the blood to advance CAR-T therapy development.
