This is a study for people diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes who are receiving treatment with hypomethylating agents and Venetoclax. Care partners can be a spouse, family member, or friend helping a patient with AML/MDS. We want to understand nutrition, eating, and mealtimes over time throughout the first two cycles of treatment. Adolescent Mood during Puberty and Testosterone (AMPT)

During puberty, adolescents grow and change a lot which may make life seem more stressful and emotional. Male and female adolescents experience the changes associated with puberty differently, possibly because of different responses to changes in hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. We are interested in learning more about the role of these hormones in regulating emotional processing and mood symptoms, and whether a mobile training program can help improve mood during the pubertal transition. Participation is 8 weeks with two monthly follow-up surveys. Compensation provided.

TEACCH Autism Gives (TAG): Community Service Program for Autistic Adults

Community participation is an important part of quality of life in adulthood. However, many autistic adults lack community participation opportunities. Volunteer work or community service is one form of community participation which has been shown to improve mental and physical health, social connection, employment readiness, and quality of life amongst non-autistic adults. We want to know if participation in these kinds of volunteer activities could meaningfully impact quality of life for autistic adults as well.
