Lyme Disease Study

Do you have a pet dog? Has your dog been tested for Lyme disease at the Animal Hospital of Boone? If so, you may be able to take part in a study on how often people and their pet dogs get Lyme disease in Watauga County, North Carolina. People who have dogs may be more likely to get Lyme disease, but we don't know much about the risks they share with their pets in this area. We need your help to better understand these risks! Supporting Just-in-Time Consent for Prenatal Screening in Diverse Populations

Hello! The INFORM study is seeking women who are currently pregnant or have been pregnant within the last six months and have experience with genetic testing during pregnancy. This includes tests such as the basic cell-free DNA screening, also known as NIPS testing. We would like to interview you about your experiences and decision-making process. Participants will be compensated for their time. The interviews will be conducted remotely and are expected to take about 30-45 minutes.
