The purpose of this research study is to create a Lymphoma Registry of patients who are willing to complete the study's comprehensive assessment. The assessment is designed to gather information on memory, nutritional status, mental health, and level social support. It is also designed to understand how well you carry out your day to day activities and to briefly describe what other medical conditions you may have. This assessment will help your health care team determine your "functional age" (the age you function at) as compared to how many years old you are. We will also ask you to complete questionnaires that ask questions about your personal health history, such as exercise and smoking,
This study seeks to document and interpret teachers' lived experiences as they navigate the promises and challenges of AI in their classrooms. Using phenomenological interviews, the research captures the authentic voices of high school teachers across three dimensions of effectiveness: instructional design, assessment, and classroom management. Grounded in the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, the study will generate insight into how educators balance innovation, pedagogy, and ethics. By addressing this critical gap, the study will provide policymakers, teacher education programs, and professional development leaders with actionable guidance on supporting teachers through this technological shift. Ultimately, this research seeks to ensure that the integration of AI strengthens, rather than replaces, the professional judgment and creativity that define effective teaching.
The purpose of this study is to examine how brain function and behavior interact in the human brain using electroencephalography (EEG), a brain imaging tool that does not require surgery. We are recruiting two groups of individuals: 1.) those that experienced a stroke and 2.) those that have not experienced a stroke.
To gather information on the technique of staging laparoscopy and processing of peritoneal washings through a survey of practicing surgical oncologists. This presents an opportunity to potentially standardize this procedure in future. This may help facilitate more accurate staging of the peritoneum.
We are doing a study to help women in rural Rwanda who had a c-section (a surgery to deliver a baby). Some women have problems after the surgery, but these problems can be hard to catch early, especially if they live far from a hospital. We want to see if using a special phone app with help from community health workers (CHWs) can find these problems sooner. We'll compare this new method to the way things are usually done now. We also want to know: How long it takes to find problems using the app vs. the usual way If the app is used the right way How much money families have to spend on follow-up care What mothers think about the app and the help from CHWs after their c-section The goal is to see if this tool can help women stay healthy after giving birth, without putting too much stress on their families.
To study how different blood products and clotting factors are prepared for patients undergoing cardiac surgery
This study focuses on resident care and well-being in an accredited, nonprofit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that provides independent living and long-term residential care, including assisted living (AL, of which there are 59 beds) and nursing home care (NH, of which there are 60 beds). Secondarily, it examines staff perceptions of the residents' living environment and how supported staff feel in providing care to residents.
