Were you diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the last few weeks? We are looking for people who are able to come in for a single visit within 2 months of their diagnosis of type 1 diabetes to collect demographic data and a blood sample. We will be collecting blood for the analysis of a specific genotype to see its distribution among people who are diagnosed with T1D.

Are you interested in a storytelling task? Participate in our study! Participants are compensated $10 for a 30-minute experimental session over Zoom. You are eligible to participate in this study if you are between 30-70 years old, are a native speaker of American English who has always lived in the US, are willing to have your voice recorded, have no language or cognitive disorders, and have vision good enough to see and read a computer screen.
