The purpose is to examine the psychological processes underlying reading (and language comprehension more generally) in healthy, literate adults, focusing particularly on how the representation of information in memory supports and constrains processing. This will contribute to a greater understanding of the basic processes involved in reading, which may lead to improvements in education and more effective uses of information technology.

This study looks at how using social media affects baby feeding and parent stress. We want to learn which social media sites parents use to find baby feeding info. We also want to know if using social media makes parents more worried or stressed about feeding their babies. We will talk to parents and do surveys to gather this information.
Is your toddler not talking? Do they show signs of possible autism? Does your family qualify for public assistance (WIC, Medicaid, etc.)? If so, you may be able to participate in a study about how your child develops communication skills. We will do in-home assessments of your child's communication at 3 timepoints over a year and give you reports of your child's development and autism traits that can be used to access services. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of domestic violence protective orders (aka restraining orders) on preventing future gun violence and promoting safety for survivors of intimate partner violence who have experienced gun-related abuse.
Have you been diagnosed with relapsed or refractory AL amyloidosis? If so, you might be able to take part in a study to test an investigational treatment (NXC-201) at different doses to see which dose is best for testing. The study will also look to see if NXC-201 is effective in treating your amyloidosis.
