Type 1 Diabetes Management for Rural Families Study

Are you a caregiver to a child with Type 1 Diabetes? Do you live over an hour from your child's diabetes care team? The University of North Carolina is looking for volunteers for a study. We want to see how a telehealth program called REAL-Fam can help families manage diabetes and everyday tasks. You will get paid for participating.

An Automated Insulin Delivery System Study for Type 2 Diabetes

Are you currently using insulin to treat type 2 diabetes? Are your blood sugar values still not where your provider wants them to be? Personalized Care Plans for People with Serious Blood Flow Problems in Their Legs

Do you have chronic limb-threatening ischemia? This might cause you pain, slow-healing wounds, or make it hard to decide about surgeries and treatments for your leg or foot. We want to hear from you. What has getting the care you need been like? Have you ever felt unsure about your treatment options or needed more support? Sharing your story can help us make care better for others with the same condition. It might help doctors to explain things more clearly, find better ways to manage pain, or support people who worry about their independence. We will talk with you two times-now and again in six months-to hear about your experiences. Your story can help make care easier and better for people in the future.

Type 1 Diabetes Weight Loss Study

Do you have type 1 diabetes? Has your doctor told you that your HbA1c is higher than the goal? Do you also have excess body weight? If you are having a hard time controlling your blood sugar with only insulin, you may be able to participate in a research study to see if taking an investigational medication once weekly can help improve your blood sugar control and reduce your body weight.

AWARD Peds Plus

This study is being done to see how safe a study drug is and how well it will work to help people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). We have asked you to join this study because you have T2DM. During this study, participants will come to the clinic and receive treatment for their T2DM. All patients will get study drug. During the study, the dosage of the study drug is increased to test the safety and effectiveness from higher doses.

Inaxaplin in Subjects With Proteinuric APOL1-mediated Kidney Disease

If you have protein in the urine and African descent, Hispanic or American Indian you might have a gene call APOL1 contributing kidney disease. This study will test if you have change in the gene. If you do have that change you can participate in this study .
