Walking Feedback Study

In this study, we want to see how feedback affects how people walk. We will look at people over 40, those with Parkinson's disease, and those who have had a stroke. The goal is to learn how to make walking training better for rehab.

The ADD-Me Roster: a registry for those interested in brain health or Alzheimer's research

Do you have problems with your thinking or memory? Or a parent or sibling with dementia? If so, we'd like you to join this registry about the brain and Alzheimer's disease. In return for providing us with a little bit of your health history and background, we will connect you with researchers doing studies you can join, without obligation. Many studies pay a stipend and some offer a possible treatment.

How does the way sugar enters the body affect brain glucose?

We are conducting a research study to understand how different ways of taking sugar into the body change how much sugar gets into the brain. This information may be helpful to get learn about obesity, type 2 diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases (e.g. Alzheimer's Disease).

Stroke Patient/Caregiver Experience Study

We want to improve emergency stroke care across the state of North Carolina. We are doing this by gathering information from individuals like you about emergency stroke services. Your perspective as a stroke patient or caregiver to a stroke patient in North Carolina will help us identify challenges in stroke care and develop effective solutions for those challenges.
